You try not to go back But everything thing you see, everything you do Pushes you to crack They say you can’t feel it But you just can’t conceal it As you take your last breath It all ends just- like- that-
The meaning of my poem is unknown, even to me the person who wrote it. I just write what comes to mind. If you can figure out what I mean, let me know because I am lost. Thanks :)
It seems to be an inner struggle, of sorts. No matter what you say, no matter what you think, no matter what you do, life is just pushing you to the edge of breaking. "This is the way the world ends/not with a bang, but with a whimper." -TS Eliot "The Hollow Men" That's my interpretation of it, anyway.
That is my favorite quote of ALL TIME lol :D
i do that too, just write what comes to mind and have no idea of the meaning. we can help each other out! :) the first three lines seem indicative of PTSD, and flashbacks, talking about a trigger (or it could just be me lol) next couple lines are your feelings not being validated and then, death not the happiest but VERY well written. I love it
