People on Openstudy lately are sooo rude and don't follow the rules. When you start reminding them of the rules, they start cussing you out like there's no tomorrow. They give out direct answers and they don't even bug to care about the COC...

Yes, @ElonaSushchik , it's very unfortunate that so many OpenStudy users are so blatantly rude. I've experienced some very out of line users, and I just report them. That's all you can really do. The moderators will help the situation. Still, very unfortunate.

Whatever users upset you in an online site shouldn't be bothering you. I get some peoples' hate mail and what do I do? I just chuckle to myself. They aren't going to think of me 5 years from now. What someone that I've never met before says to me has no effect whatsoever to me. It doesn't matter because in the long run, they will get the consequences for any cyber bullying they do.

To the original posting - it is a hard thing.  Without some measure of voluntary compliance, there CANNOT be enough mods.  It takes some integrity.  Some people don't have it.  It is a sad thing.  Please keep reminding.  Please keep reporting.   There is nothing to argue on this.  Just have patience and let Mods do any necessary dirty work.   For a non-mod user, just a gentle reminder and move on.  Stay awesome!

I agree but only one user cussed me out when I told them about the rules. 1 user out of many. Most of the users feel sorry when they realize that direct answers are wrong and only some people get mad when I tell them.

I was talking about my own experience ES. Now that I think about it more than 1 people cussed at me for telling them the rules. But still not that much. Only about 5 people in total.
