OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Demonstrate one half-life, please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

130/(2^6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 grams??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one half life means you reduce the amount by half which is the same as dividing by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, 2.03 grams

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thankyou! i have another?? @10115658

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://gyazo.com/2cf9297dd3131d783332f14ccc729183 ^^^ in the link

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Demonstrate ONE year at 5.5% and don't you DARE let @10115658 do your work for you, this time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a=22,000(1+0.055)^11 this is my equation correct??

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

That's the spirit. Why not LEAD with that, rather than posting a question with no work shown? The half-life problem should have had the same effort. \(130(1 - 0.5)^{6} = 130(0.5)^{6} = 130*0.15625 = 2.03125\) Definitely commit to showing your work up front.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for my second question the answer i got was 39646 is that right

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

See how I showed my work? Lear to do that and you can answer that question for yourself. \(22000(1 + 0.055)^{11} = 22000(1.055)^{11} = 22000(1.802092404) = $39,646.03\) See how the work can be followed, traced, and reproduced, every step of the way? This is the standard of performance that will build your personal confidence.

okay thx
