Well, the United Nations creatred Israel. They took what is known as Palestine, a place where both Muslims (known as the Palestinians) and the Jews (known as the Israeli) were living. They then gave a part of the Palestinian's land without their permission to the Israeli's. Of course this started a lot of conflicts and all.
