to find the volume of a cylinder you need the equation: \[v=\eta r^2h\]
r= ratio and h=height and π=3.14 but when to question askes you for the EXACT volume you dont need the π

to find the the volume of a come you need the equation v=1/3*π*r^2*h
you need to divide the diameter in half to find "r"
so the diameter in the problem is 18
18/2=9
so we have r=9 h=14 and π=3.14
in this problem the tell you to replace π with 3.14 soo...
v=1/3*3.14*9^2*14
= 1.046667*9^2*14
= 1.046667*81*14
= 84.78*14
= 1186.92
so the volume is 1186.92
