In "The Bat-Poet," why does the little brown bat seek out audiences other than the mockingbird? A. The mockingbird is always too busy to listen to what the little brown bat has to say. B. The mockingbird wants to use the bat's poetry in his own songs without giving the bat any credit. C. The mockingbird thinks that he is the only one in the story who has the right to be creative. D. The mockingbird understands the technical aspects of poetry but does not feel its emotional impact.
