OpenStudy (warpedkitten):

What is a direct democracy? a. a political system in which the people choose elected officials who represent their concerns b. a political system in which the people make decisions about the issues that affect them c. a political system in which the people vote for a president or other leader d. a political system in which the people are excluded from making certain choices It's obviously not D, and I feel like C is too direct. So I'm unsure if it's A or B.

OpenStudy (exoticinspirit):

Direct democracy is a form of democracy in which people decide policy initiatives directly, as opposed to a representative democracy in which people vote for representatives who then decide policy initiatives. .

OpenStudy (warpedkitten):

So it'd be B?

OpenStudy (exoticinspirit):

yes all citizens vote on all items before the government that affect them

OpenStudy (warpedkitten):

Thank you.
