What is a significant and widespread criticism of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF)? A. Many countries are so deeply in debt that they have no hope of ever repaying their loans. B. These organizations are not making enough loans to alleviate poverty around the world. C. Despite many health care programs, no significant gains in life expectancy have been made since the bank was founded. D. These organizations have not stepped in to reduce payments when natural disasters occur.

The World Bank just wants to fund projects that will get developing countries "up to speed" regardless of whatever collateral damage it causes.

All of them can be true but I am not sure which one is a widespread significant situation sorry can't help you with this one..
