OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

If you have a quadratic of the form \[ax^2+bx+c\] the discriminant is given by \[\Delta=b^2-4ac\] which you may recognize as the part under the square root sign in the quadratic formula.

OpenStudy (kitkat16):

a=22, b=14, and c=0 ax^2+bx+c=0
