Help please! Will give medal! Simplify (5x^3)/(7x^3+x^4) I know that the answer is 5/x+7 However, my choices are: 5/x+7 where x does not equal 0 or -7 and 5/x+7 where x does not equal 0 and 5/x+7 where x does not equal -7 I don't know how to figure that out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In this case the / is a fraction line if that helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 5}{ (7+x) }\] set denom = 0, solve x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

division by 0 i undefined, so whenever the denom = 0 that case will never exist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to figure out which x makes that case true
