A person with type B blood has been involved in an accident and excessive bleeding necessitated due to an error by a careless laboratory technician the person is given type B blood. Explain what will happen. *MEDAL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The persons immune system will accept the B type blood because their body is used to only having that blood type in their system. If they were given any other blood type the body would reject it and treat it like a harmful substance.

What @Megatronus117 said. The person's type B blood contains B antigens, or surface markers, that let the body know it is okay to accept only type B blood. If they didn't get type B blood (or O, it is the universal donor because it doesn't have any antigens) then complications like clotting could occur, which is a very bad thing.
