sorry mis understood the quest solve \[\sin \theta =\tan \theta \]

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

solve that equation to see what the answr would be \[\sin\theta =\tan \theta \Longrightarrow \sin \theta =\frac{\sin \theta }{\cos\theta }\]

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

\[\sin \theta -\sin \theta\cos \theta =0 \Longrightarrow \sin \theta (1-\cos \theta )=0 \]

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

\[\sin \theta =0 ~~~or ~~~\cos \theta =1\]

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

when does sin equal zero and when does cos equal 1

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

other way of doing this take those options and plug them back to the equation \[\sin \theta =\tan \theta \] the first on does not work since tan is not defined for pi/2 the third left had side would not equal to right hand side so no the D same as pi/2 so only B works
