Hi everyone, I need help on this question, I already know the answer but I don't know if it is square feet. A rectangular playground measures 75 feet by 40 feet. What is the area of the playground?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

See, your playground is a Rectangular in shape. So, for this you need to know what is Area of Rectangle.. Area of Rectangle is given by: \[Area \; of \; Rectangle = Length \times Height\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[Area \; of \; Rectangle = Length \times Width\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is Width not Height there..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Length = 75 feet Width = 40 feet here..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you find the Area now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand what your asking
