For this assessment you must demonstrate your understanding of argumentative writing by creating an outline for your essay. Use the Outline Planning Guide to complete this assignment. Submit your outline to your instructor for feedback before moving on to writing your argument. Remember! Your outline must respond to the following prompt: Was Brutus a betrayer or a patriot? This information is part of your argumentative writing project for this unit. Your work will be graded according to the following Outline Your Argument Grading Rubric.

The amount of spam makes me not want to help. Anyways, this is easy. Pick your stance of either "Brutus is a patriot" or "Brutus is a traitor". If you haven't read "Julius Caesar" by Shakespeare already, then you probably should. Sparknotes has a version that uses modern language and if thats still too much for you to do, you can always read the summaries on sparknotes. After you pick a side, just follow what you were supposed to have been taught about writing an arguement. You can find support details by reading through the play or by searching "Why is Brutus a patriot" or "why is brutus a traitor" in google. The important thing about this argumentative assignment is that you should be picking a side based upon how YOU feel and think about the topic.
