Alright haha. Some more tips, deaf people like it a lot when people are learning signs, be very motivated. :) Also use a LOT of facial expressions, don't be shy haha, you can't ever "over do" expressions because thats what they focus most on. When you sign or watch someone sign make eye contact because like I said thats what you/they will pay attention to. Your expressions. Also one more important information never talk when someone deaf is in the room, its very rude.. for obvious reasons. They can't understand you. Some people can read lips but others will misunderstand you. My mom is a ASL teacher so Im not sure if you've been in this class for a while or if your new but you'll have a lot of fun. :)
