1) Primary source is a document written by someone who was there and saw a situation occur. Example: Abigail Adams's letters to John Adams. They are primary because she and John lived during the revolution, and saw first hand what happened.
2) Secondary source is a source that is written by someone who wasn't there, but is looking back with an account of it. Example: Bibliography of someone's life
3) Biased source: Newspaper article, blog post, etc. The writers can give opinions that lean one way.
4) Propaganda: WW2 posters. Try to sway opinion and support against another side.
5) 9/11, the president used propaganda speeches to Unite and support the people of the US.
