1) List an example of a primary source document. Give the name of the document and explain why it is a primary source. 2) List an example of a secondary source document. Explain what the document is and explain why it is a secondary source. 3) List an article that has bias. Define bias and how it can affect the reader. 4) List an example of propaganda and explain why it is propaganda. 5) List an example of propaganda used by a government and explain how it was used to influence public opinion.

1) Primary source is a document written by someone who was there and saw a situation occur. Example: Abigail Adams's letters to John Adams. They are primary because she and John lived during the revolution, and saw first hand what happened. 2) Secondary source is a source that is written by someone who wasn't there, but is looking back with an account of it. Example: Bibliography of someone's life 3) Biased source: Newspaper article, blog post, etc. The writers can give opinions that lean one way. 4) Propaganda: WW2 posters. Try to sway opinion and support against another side. 5) 9/11, the president used propaganda speeches to Unite and support the people of the US.
