i feel like you could have kept going and i felt like you had more to say but you stopping at that point was very powerful and said much more than anything you could have said after. That is self control and power. I was very impressed by this. I felt like it was a tad bit cliche but not to the point where i was like ehhhhh. Youre a great writer keep it up

Lovely poem! :) I agree that more adjectives could add to the emotion of the poem, but I sort of like the starkness of it as it is. The lack of any more description sort of emphasizes the hopelessness and the isolation of the POV.
