please tell me what u think of my poem......

I remember you were there for me
and we use to look out, at the sea
you brought me in your loving hand
and we played at the beach, out in the sand
when i was sick, u were always near
u held me close, i had no fear
i love the lasagna u use to make
and on my birthday, all the cakes
i never fear when ur around
cause i know you’ll keep me safe and sound
but now i don’t see u much anymore
ur still the best dad thats in the world.
