yes in the movie when they go to Camazotz they see all the children doing the same thing except for 1

But in the book, they obviously state that the town wasn't creepy at all.

...It wasn't though. At least that wasn't their first impression. It IS D. The Happy Medium said it was a dark planet, but when they arrived, it was warm and comforting.

Movies are known for distorting the meaning of the original. I'd trust what's in the book more.
