Yes-ish? I'm amused. I'll give you a quick explanation then. If someone were writing a paper about a particular subject and wanted to give a quick, I guess in a sense you could say "Side Note" they would put a comma after the subject of their sentence, write the small bit of information, then put another comma to continue the statement they were making. The example I'll give is a Pilot Metropolitan -type of pen- My Pilot Metropolitan, although hard to grip, is my favorite pen to take writing exams with. See what I did there?
