So we have w = p + 30 and w= -p +5. Multiplying the equations would not eliminate w. If you were to add them. p+30 - p + 5. Does this eliminate p?

OpenStudy (thats_kyy):

okay.. look i just wanna know if this is right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just told you what you have is not right.

OpenStudy (thats_kyy):

@TheSmartOne is this right?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

B is not correct.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

What happens, lets say if you add both of the equations?

OpenStudy (thats_kyy):

umm then ill have to eliminate p

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Exactly, and then you can solve for W, right?

OpenStudy (thats_kyy):

Yes

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So what would be your answer?

OpenStudy (thats_kyy):

A?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

correct :)
