@HistoryMasterminds Unlike every other country in the world, Somalia has no government. It is an extremely dangerous area. Numerous agencies designed to give aid to such countries in need have been a part of Somalia's recovery for years; however, many had to leave due to kidnappings. Refugee camps now fill the area, basic needs cannot be met, and diseases spread rapidly. Doctors are rarely visited, because very few people can afford the medical care.

According to the author, why do many Somalis die from disease? They do not know that there are hospitals. Doctors in Somalia cannot cure the diseases. They cannot afford to use private hospitals. Their religion does not let them use medicine.

OpenStudy (surana):

If they can't pay for the medical care, they can't use the hospital, right?
