OpenStudy (aripotta):

what's 12x^2 divided by 3x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

48x

OpenStudy (aripotta):

12/3 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, i used order of operations and went to the exponent first, so 12 divided by 3 is 4

OpenStudy (aripotta):

yea, so 4x, right? and what's 9x/3x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x

OpenStudy (aripotta):

well in this case, it wouldn't have the x. it's just 3. so we have 4x + 3, with a remainder of 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok, what next?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

that's it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh cool, thanks for the help !

OpenStudy (aripotta):

no problemo~
