A 5 foot wide deck completely surrounds the pool. The average depth of the pool = 6 feet. What are the approximate overall dimensions of the pool and deck? ______ by _______

@israa88 could you help me with this last one too? This is the last question I don't understand

so 650 sq ft would be the overall of the whole pool?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A=LxW 20ft.x35ft=700 ft I added 5 ft to both to include the deck 25ftx40ft= 1000 I subtract the area of pool from above amount 1000-700= 300 ft.
