PLEASE HELP I WILL MEDAL AND FAN!!! How Are continental glaciers different from valley glaciers??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Valley glaciers are formed on mountains while continental glaciers are formed on flat land. Continental glaciers are masses of ice; they are very thick and larger than Valley glaciers. Valley glaciers are streams of flowing ice that erodes down a slope. A valley glacier is sometimes known for its 'U' shaped figure, which is formed by previous erosion.
