c. 5/6 do you want me to explain why? or you get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a number cube has the numbers 1-6 the probability of rolling a six is 1/6 because there is only one six.. that being said the probability of NOT rolling a six is 5/6 because 5 numbers on the number cube is NOT 6... Get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok a standard number cube with the numbers 1 through 6 is rolled. find the probability of rolling a number greater than 5. a. 1/6 b. 1/3 c. 1/4 d. 2/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

again the number cube is 1-6 so the only number higher than a 5 is 6 so it is 1/6
