can a base be a radius ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im not sure can it? |dw:1431490790919:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the base is the whole thing and the radius is a line in it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A base is the bottom of it but if you are referring to a cone: |dw:1431491009335:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the radius at the bottom is half of the base of the cone and can not be the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its to a triangular pyramid

OpenStudy (df001):

All radius from the same center point of a circle has the same measurement.

so if your trying to find the volume is it any different ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you are drawing a triangular pyramid inside of a cone it may very well have the base equal to the radius of a the cone but by itself it will not.
