People learning English as a second language make mistakes when they apply the grammar of their native language to English. True False

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First of all, you should not apply grammar of your native language directly into english, it's a big mistake and it's TRUE that people make mistakes while learning english as their secondary language.

True because they come from a different background and are not used to pronouncing things the way we pronounce them. And sometimes they might sound weird trying to do it, but It's just harder for them (and they deserve respect for trying to learn a whole new language)

True, I took Spanish. The grammar rules were different from English grammar. Hope this helps! :)
