how do you give medal to people?

When someone answers a question, it will show up (obviously) and next to it will be a medal, don't click the medal, but click best response

You click the "best response" button. That will give the person a medal (the medal sign will have a one to the right of it) and the person will recieve a notification that you sent it to him/her. Also, please close this question as it doesn't follow along the lines of English. I hope we answered this question for you. :) Keep up the good work!
