An adjective is a word that describes a noun.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which word describes a noun

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An adjective describes a noun. A noun is a person, place, thing, or idea. The eagle is a thing. What describes the eagle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i know what an adj is just confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we know its not soaring what do u think are our options

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Across doesn't describe the eagle, does it? Slowly describes flying, so that is adverb. Flying is a verb so i cannot be that. It has to be soaring.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SarahMotionless The rest don't work. It has to be soaring. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you lol,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes soaring slowly is a adverb so yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The eagle is the noun. So the thing that describes the noun is soaring. @SarahMotionless
