1. if there is no evidence, and no witnesses then yes its a low priority Sometimes it is easy, most times it is not.
2. i dont know sorry
3. arson investigations are very difficult due to destruction of crime scene due to fire or explosion. an arson investigator must determine two things, point of orgin and cause of the fire. the point of origin is the cornerstone of an arson investigation as any materials found in the area will help determine whether an accelerant or anigniter was used.
4. One effective way to determine fire causes is to determine the point of origin. After the area of origin has been established, the investigator should check for the level of origin by examining the bottoms of shelves, ledges, moldings, and furniture and all sides of the legs, arms, and framework of reconstructed furniture. The floor and lower areas of the room produce the most clues to the cause fo the fire, because they are living area.
6. flames and smoke are probably two of the main things that investigators use to judge an investigation. the color of the flames can indicate many different things like temperature and use of particular accelerants. the direction of the burn patterns left by the flames can also tell a great deal. They can indicate the point of origin, how fasst the flames spread, and many other key details. The smoke patterns also indicate different aspects of a fire .
10. Do not touch the suspected explosive device or bomb. Do not use a portable phone or handheld radio, walkie talkie in the building. Evacuate the building by using standard fire drill procedures and seal off the area to prevent any unauthorized entry.
