OpenStudy (torii897):

Can you find the area of circumference of a circle given the radius or diametor ?

OpenStudy (butterfield1215):

yes you can

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (torii897):

can you help explain ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah you just need to use the formulas

OpenStudy (butterfield1215):

do you know what eqution is for finding the circumference of a cirlce

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi x diameter

OpenStudy (butterfield1215):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and 2r times pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is because the radius is half the diameter so to get circumference you have to multiply by 2

OpenStudy (torii897):

ok thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just to be more clear in case r=radius d=diameter to get circumference you always use pi but the formulas are c=2rpi c=dpi

OpenStudy (torii897):

yes I get thank you so much
