I'm assuming that by "selective" you mean selected by humans. If that is the case, then they will have traits that are of value to humans, like milk production in dairy cows, or heavy muscles in beef cows, running ability in race horses, herding in collies, etc. They will have whatever traits are considered valuable to the humans that control the breeding. Often times this also leads to inbreeding which can create problems of its own, like hip dysplasia in golden retrievers.
