Which is the x-coordinate and which is the y-coordinate for the ordered pair negative six comma four? Explain how you would move from the origin to plot this point.

I'll help
points are set up like this (x,y)....so x = -6 and y = 4 to plot your points...start on the x line -- the one going vertical your origin is (0,0)....and since your x is -6, you will go 6 spaces to the LEFT......now move to the y line -- the one going up and down...now from point - 6, and since your next point is 4, then go up 4 spaces....that is where (-6,4) is located
Fist we need to know which one is the y-coordinate and which is the x-coordinate what do u think
x = -6 and y = 4. I know that part. But how do I "Explain how I would move from the origin to plot this point."?????
OKay so you start at (0,0)
explain how many units to the left, up, down, right you would have to go @ArtemisWolf
