OpenStudy (aaronq):

what's in acid rain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx)

OpenStudy (aaronq):

okay. well quartz and glass are basically the same thing (quartz in pure \(SiO_2\) and glass has impurities) and they're pretty inert to everything. that leaves marble and aluminium. i googled acid rain on marble and this came up http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/acidrain/5.html

I thought its marble too:) thnx

OpenStudy (aaronq):

haha okay cool. no problem~
