I`m having trouble on this question lol A purse contains dimes and nickels. The total value of all the coins is, at most, $2.50, and there are at least three of each coin. Which of the following systems correctly shows the system that describes the possible number of nickels (n) and dimes (d) in the purse?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so you need 3 inequalities dimes > 3 nickels > 3 dimes + nickels < 2.50

OpenStudy (jtvatsim):

Well, we know that the total value of the coins is at most 2.50, so we must have 0.05n + 0.10d <= 2.50 there must be at least three of each coin so, n >= 3 and d >= 3.

thanks :)
