1. LINK PAST AND PRESENT IN 2001, President George W. Bush signed the Economic Growth and Tax relief reconciliation act of 2001 (EGTRRA). This bill called for large tax cuts just as the Economic Recovery Act of 1981 had and largely benefited the wealthiest Americans. President Bush's approach to economics was very similar to that of President Reagan's. Explain the assumptions behind the theory of supply-side economics, and describe the consequences of Reaganomics.

is there any way u can help me re word my answer?
can you help me re word this? The president assumed that, as rich Americans got richer, then they will open more businesses. Now as new businesses opened, more middle-to-low class citizens will follow. The middle and lower class will either get jobs at these new businesses; considering that the job pays better then their old job. Another assumption would be that the middle and lower class will get some of those benefits that the rich have. The new businesses would also lure rural Americans (usually the lower class) into the cities; where they would get better jobs and, therefore, better benefits for all Americans. A consequence of Reaganomics is the big change in social class. Due to the Act benefiting the rich, the gap between the rich and the poor widened; the middle class stayed about the same.
You need it reworded? What specific spots?
this is what i need to explain. Explain the assumptions behind the theory of supply-side economics, and describe the consequences of Reaganomics.
I suggest taking it to literacy for rewording. They're pretty good there. I'm only good with doing the entire thing over and I can't provide direct answers to your questions.
oh okay.. thank you any way
The EGTRRA with George W. Bush being president was based on social classes. For example, higher classed people enjoyed more wealth while the middle and lower classes enjoyed more jobs and higher pay to survive. I think that can get you started. :) Best of luck on the essay!
thank you!
