Write the sum using summation notation, assuming the suggested pattern continues. 5 - 15 + 45 - 135 + ... summation of 5 times 3 to the power of n from n equals 0 to infinity summation of 5 times negative 3 to the power of the quantity n minus 1 from n equals 0 to infinity summation of 5 times 3 to the power of the quantity n plus 1 from n equals 0 to infinity summation of 5 times negative 3 to the power of n from n equals 0 to infinity
I thought it was B but ... i was wrong
the sign alternates so it must be either B or D and you've just eliminated B
why dont you just substitute values for n and see?
because i didn't understand how to do this one so i guessed tbh
Wanna help on another?
