hae,how can i easily master the calculus ii techniques?
Practice lots of examples
try try try until u dont suceed
work out a problem from scratch, see if you can do it by yourself
i did calculus i final test ands got a A of 82,coming to calculus ii am really getting hard times.is ther e any problem with me??
nope, calculus is difficult subject
maths is hard
many calc 2 ideas are extensions of calc 1 ideas try building up your fundamentals first (calc 1 topics) but yes, wrapping you head around calculus can be a difficult thing just keep practicing problems and one day it will all click ^_^
thanks for that #jigg! i miss classes due to fee problems but am trying the best to catch up!! love mathematics!!
i agree strongly with UncleRhaukus - keep on practicing
@UnkleRhaukus @welshfella I disagree strongly that maths is inherently 'hard' There seems to be a cultural acceptance that his is a 'fact' and that causes pupils to approach it with trepidation AND to make excuses for their lack odf progress in the subject. In many ways it is an easy subject, at least up to the beginning of undergraduate level since it is almost entirely 'procedural' and requires little 'creative' work. By following the techniques it is possible to score 100% without ANYONE being able to have an 'opinion' on your answers. Most other subjects are open to interpretation or opinion as to the 'correct' answer. Very few people would proudly proclaim that they are poor at other subjects, yet it seems to be totally acceptable to claim 'lameness' or equivalent in this subject as an excuse for not trying. Stick with the subject - learn the techniques and it is a valuable tool for life, career and indeed for simple self satisfaction at deriving a neat solution.
yeah, you need to know calculus 1 very well. Also, asides from knowing how to preform each step, you need to know the steps themselves. Most importantly, don't try to remember (for instance) the dy/dx with the polar curve, rather make sense of the formulas and steps you need to know/do.
I don't believe that most math is inherently hard. I was agreeing with UncleRhaukus about the need for lots of practice
"True dat" (as they say)
I found this website, it has an exhaustive list of videos or tutorials on calculus. http://mathispower4u.yolasite.com/
I would say graduate school math is very difficult, but undergrad math for the most part is just a matter of spending time on the problem. figure out what method you learn best
