The half-life of a radioactive isotope is the time it takes for a quantity of the isotope to be reduced to half its initial mass. Starting with 180 grams of a radioactive isotope, how much will be left after 6 half-lives?

You don't need to use a formula, but you can. Divide the initial amount by 2. Then divide that by 2 again. Do this 6 times altogether to get your answer,
