Help with ellipses

OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

Find the equation of an ellipse based on the following information: Vertices: (0, ±2), minor axis of length 2.

OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

\[\frac{ (x-h)^2 }{ a^2 } + \frac{ (y-k)^2 }{ b^2 } = 1\]

OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

x = h is how to find the minor axis, but we know minor axis is two so x=2?
