Line M passes through points (4,2) and (-7,1). What is the slope of a line N that is parallel to line M? a 11 b -1/11 c 1/11 my answer was 1/11 but im not sure

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

do you know the slope formula , given 2 points? for the points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) slope = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

so plug in the values for (4,2) and (-7,1) to find the slope

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

(2-1) / (4 - (-7)) = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11 ? @cwrw238

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no - look again
