Oh this stuff is easy. Give me a min

yes
Let me know what you get
-16x - (-40)
Since there are two negatives, that -40 would change to a positive 40
Now do the same with the other side. 6x times -x and 6x times 8

-6x + 48
Since your multiplying 6x by -x, it would be -6x^2 (6x squared). Every time you multiply an x by another x, it would equal an x^2
Well, since you're offline I'm done helping you. Next time you ask for help, make sure you have the time and don't take so long to reply.
