Many factors led to the end of communism in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, and subsequently the end of the Cold War. Choose one person, topic, or event and briefly explain its role in helping to end the Cold War.

President Ronald Reagan gave a famous speech urging Russia to tear down it`s wall, in other words end the Cold War. Russia was divided into two parts during the time of the Cold War. Families were seperated and not allowed to travel from one part of Russia to another. The Cold War really represents the hostile and competitive relations between the U.S. and Russia.
