I got an idea, instead of just Offline and Online statuses, there should be something like Skype where there is a Busy and away. Like, we should be able to turn on Busy; and if we are idol for a certain amount of minutes it can automatically turn our status to away.

rvc (rvc):

liked it

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

good idea....

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

Thats not a toblerone.....nor is it a jesus.....LIES...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I want to be able to turn on Busy because sometimes i am online but I am taking a test. And away status because I get idol sometimes and I get one person that keeps tagging me 6 times and i come back and they are offline and only relied on my help because it says i'm online.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@omarbirjas my profile pic used to be a Toblerone haha. Funny story that people tag me in Religion posts because I have Jesus in my name, but I am not religious lol.

I suggested this too in the past, it would be a good addition.

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

I like this idea, too. Sometimes I log in and just keep the page opened while I do something else. I get messages and stuff. But then when I don't respond, people get mad.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Has been suggested before. No one ever got mad when I don't respond to a message. And notifications come in slowly so this feature might not be used as much. Even when someone is shown as "away" I would still send a message to that person or tag them to a question because they can always come back to see it. Will the "away" feature disable them from getting notifications while they have it switched it on? Or will it just give a pop up that says this person is temporarily away and will be back soon? How would it benefit OS as a whole? Do the pros outweigh the cons?
