Please Please Help me!!!

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

I tried to solve for it and I only got negative numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

law of sines

OpenStudy (haichi):

110.4

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

I tried this and I got 110.4 as the other angle first thing

OpenStudy (haichi):

@ohohaye

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

Yes?

OpenStudy (haichi):

look above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first find 25/sin(38)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this gives you 40.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then use the angle you found for B which is 110.4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x/sin(110.4)=40.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for x to get the answer

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

I got 84.35 from 25/sin(38)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put your calculator in degree mode

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

Oh ok, now I got 40.6

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

I think the reason that I kept getting the wrong answer was because I had it in radians

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From the law of sines. the length of b divided by sin (110.4) should equal 40.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. so now solve for x: x/sin(110.4)=40.6

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

I got 38

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

Thanks for the help
