Which three ordered pairs complete the table to give solutions of the equation y = –5x? A. (–2, –10), (0, 0), and (2, 10) B. (–2, –10), (0, 0), and (2, –10) C. (–2, 10), (0, –5), and (2, –10) D. (–2, 10), (0,0), and (2, –10) http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1417500_1418000/1417737/1/fac96a2fe8fa5d6d511711de0a7e89630f8f41b9/FGA_130919_161120.jpg
Remember, plug in the x coordinate for x and the y coordinate for y and solve.
If both sides of the equation is the same number for all 3 points given, that answer is crrect
The correct answer is A. because if you multiply the Y coordinate by -5 you get the x coordinate for each of the pairs in the answer A. You may want to check my math though just to be sure I didn´t make a small mistake
thnx again
