please help really confusing :?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm this is kind of confusing lol

OpenStudy (mrnood):

I assume this 'to the base 5'? Just multiply long multiplication the same as decimal if a number exceeds 5 then it becomes 2 digit eg 5*5 = 100

OpenStudy (mrnood):

(of course - imean - if it exceeds 4 4*4 =31

OpenStudy (mrnood):

why deleted?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that was wrong just wait im posting correct one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(43243)_{5}\times(3413)_{5}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

helloooo anyone @MrNood

OpenStudy (mrnood):

remember when doing decimal maybe you used to head the columns "thousands, hundreds tens units" the equivaleny is 625's 125's 25's 5's units

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i've seen this before but i dont understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3413)_5 so 1x3=3 how to divide 3 by 5

OpenStudy (mrnood):

not sure why you are dividing by 5 is this about number bases? or do you mean \[\frac{ 43243 }{ 5 } \times \frac{ 3413 }{ 5 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of course not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just wait
