tell the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

w^5(w^2)^-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simplify the expression

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i suck at this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let's apply some rules of exponents... here: \(\sf \Large \frac{w^m}{w^n}=w^{m-n}\\(w^m)^n=w^{mn}\) just remember these rules. |dw:1431700728029:dw| now for the denominator we have \(\sf (w^2)^4\) apply the 2nd rule I posted above, what is 2 x 4 ?
