Is it ok that ppl post stories and ask you to answer questions for them? Honestly, ik that they need help, I'm just tired of seeing it in the English section. Instead of actual questions
Well they came here for help i think its okay :/ after all its hw
OpenStudy if for hw help
If you are that much bothered by it then you don't have to comment on their post. Just ignore it. Other people might not find it annoying and will probably help. This is a help site after all.
I ignore there post, but then I go on to a new one and find that the next 10 of them are about stories! Like someone asked me to write them a less than 500 word essay, and I was like No!
We can't do the work for them but we can help them try to do most of it by themselves.
But that's all the detail they give
If they are not willing to learn then it's pointless trying to make them learn. "You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink."
That's true, but I go there the next day to help ppl in English and it's still there! I get that some ppl need help with stories, I'm just tired of there being so many posts of story's with them. Can't there be another subject for that?
Maybe

Oh, and you can help a user that asks that question by giving the user ideas on what to put, or have that user first write their essay, and then you can proofread it for grammar errors and the such.
Most of my english classes dealt with a critical analysis of stories and such. Subtopics might be useful, but it seems that getting people to work within them is nigh impossible.
also, subtopics bleed up into the main subject area so you would still be seeing them ....
It's fine as long as they are not breaking anything on the coc.
There are three subjects on OpenStudy for English. English, Literature, and Writing. It seems like that people post all their writing assignments, or their literature work into English.
Shouldn't something be done tho? Ik that sounds stupid, but I seriously am tired of all the stories. @TheSmartOne
